Dixieland Droopy is a 1954 animated short subject in the Droopy series, directed by Tex Avery and produced by Fred Quimby for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Censorship: A scene in which the fleas "take five", hop off of Droopy's back talking jazz lingo and have a cigarette break (puffing at cigarette butts discarded by human smokers) is sometimes deleted from television broadcasts
