Sunday Morning Cartoon - The Aristocats


The Aristocats was released by Walt Disney Productions on 11th December 1970, it was the 20th animated movie produced by the studio and the first after Walt Disney's death. The film's basic idea — an animated romantic musical comedy about talking cats in Paris, in 1910, and centers around a mother cat named Duchess and her three kittens Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse.

The film was four years in the making, budgeted at over $4 million, and included more than 325,000 drawings made by 35 animators, with 20 main sequences having 1,125 separate scenes using 900 painted backgrounds.

The song "Ev'rybody Wants to Be a Cat," was written by Floyd Huddleston and Al Rinker.
